XJ roof removal

Hey guys, I've heard all kinds of things reguarding cutting off the top and door pillars on an xj and just want to see if you can clear some things up for me. The project is a 1993 4 door that has been rolled and crunched up a little. We want to cut it up and build a cage like the CAT buggy. How do you attatch the cage to the unibody and what will happen if we cut it all off before starting the cage. I've heard it will sag really bad or something. thanks for the help.

I hate to say it but before someone else says it in a much worse way you need to search. Try looking for Goatmans rig for roof replacment tips and a few others also have done the same. There is tons of info here your just need to look for it.
