ii dont know wat is wrong with my xj i dont know if the tranny is slipping or what? i am driving do the road i and i go to stomp it the enigne revs up slowly and then it shifts in gear and puts me the the seat but it takes a min to shift its never done that and thoughts??:helpme:

Based on the "revs up slow" part I wouldn't suspect slipping or fluid levels. I honestly am just talking outta my arse here, but I'd suspect something electrical or fuel related.

A transmission that is slipping should not bog down the motor. The motor should actually rev a bit faster when it slips based on my experiences.

it was bailee with her block skillz!!!

Check your brakes. I had a caliper seize up and it caused similarsymptoms. Not to mention A LOT of heat. Just jack up each corner and make sure they spin easily by hand.

cool fact, if you cycle your keys 3 times on your cherokee it should flash the codes through the engine light. if all is well it should flash 12 and 55
