WTB: standard military/nato size 5 gallon jerry can

I'm getting tired of the 5 gallon home depot special I have bouncing around the passenger footwell on the 5ton, and my driver fender has a spot to strap a standard size military 5 gallon jerry can. Anyone got one they want to sell?

Long as it's not rusted out, not too dinged up, and comes with a lid, it's good enough for me. OD or camo would be preferred, don't care too much though, will also take red/yellow etc.

but i got one with the same dimensions from crown for about 30 bucks. works just fine

u an pick them up pretty cheap on ebay and c-list. ive also seen them at surplus stores for like 5 bux

get a donkey dick too (its what we call the spout that goes into the can)

yeah, got emails out to a couple guys on CL selling them for 20-25 bucks. I checked a surplus store last weekend and they didn't have any.

I can probably get away without the spout since the fill cap on my tank is like 3-4" diameter, but yeah it could come in useful.

so it looks like I'm buying one for 25 bucks in an hour or two from a guy in pawtucket. No word on whether this is a male or female gas can however.

if its a NATO can, its female and they sell spouts for em, which are easier to find than the cans themselves on the websz.
