Dude, throw in a PowerTrax for around $400 unless your convinced your changing the R&P too. Then do the Detroit for around $580.

I scored an 8.25 with new Yukon shafts, bearings and R&P 456 gears with a Lock-Rite for $375 a week ago. Keep your eye out!

i have 4.56 gears waiting to go in i could get a powertrax theres no carrier brake on a 8.25. i already have the disc brakes and i getting alloy shafts with my tax return. im really trying to find a used powertrax so far with no luck

I've got a powertrax no-slip locker for the 8.25 29 spline. I've used a few times offroad and maybe 3000 miles on road- so it's barely used. It works great- nothing wrong with it. I'm just getting new axles and don't need it.

It's still in the axle as of right now but I could pull it if you wanted to buy it. I'd like to get $300 shipped for it.

Post how this install goes and how it rides ok? I'll be buying a No-Slip in the next few weeks. Anymore sellers?
