Once again Uncle Sam is about to pay back my 0% loan and I think I'm ready to make my first foray into welding. So now I'm looking for a machine. I've been told by many to steer towards a 220 miller but open to any suggestions. For now I just want to try to stiffen up my front end with plate and tack together my 8.8 so I can have it done properly at a shop. If anyone knows of a machine for sale (or just wants to give their $.02) it would be appreciated. Thanks!

So I'm looking at this used 211... Anyone have any experience with this model and the auto-set feature?

Millers are good machines. I don't think you'd have a problem with it, a quick google search brought up a couple nice reviews on it. people seem to like it. Moe hit me up when you start welding man, i've got ideas...

i bought a new miller 252 before i moved.
someday i'll get time to take it out of the box & use it.
you can't go wrong with miller welders moe.

well as sometimes happens, I wasn't the early bird on this deal. Im still pretty impressed with the miller... I'm kinda leaning towards a new machine just to get it over with. spendy but I've blown money on more useless things.
