WTB: Hood Vents

Let me know what you guys have. I need to remedy my heat soak misfiring issue.

FYI- i have the vents on my 01 and it helped, but you should go to the dealer and get the "injector shield kit". Its just some bulls*** little tube shaped material that wraps around the 3 and 4 injectors. It does help though, and its like 8 bucks. I got that, and wrapped them with some foil tape and the issue went away.

Its the 3, and 4 that boil fuel and cause the mis fire.

Thanks, I was also going to get the shields. Just figured I would start looking for vents as well, assuming more protection is better.

Mine misfired on Slickrock during SierraFest and again on this last snow run. So it doesn't happen often but I am starting to have a few small issues.

Yeah, it's annoying. I've had good luck with the vents, and the foil tape is sweet too.

theres a lebaron at my pnp that has a single vent i could pull for ya if that helps any but none with the double vents as of now

BTW - The heat soak is a PITA!!!!! Especially in the winter (for me at least). I went to the store the other day, came out and the fricker took a while to kick out the evapped gas. Was crazy.......
