WTB: fuel injectors for a 00

Looking to get 6 of the bosch 784 injectors. But let me know what you have. Mine are clogged and not spraying so anything is better then what I have now..

Vehicle info: 2000 4.0

Side note- don't let gas sit in the tank for 5years!

Would they be the same in a '98?

If so, I "THINK" I have a set some where. I did a cursory search of the garage and nothing jumped out and bit me. I'll dig deeper tomorrow and let you know. I can't imagine I tossed them. They are rebuilds and of mixed manufactures, but they only have a couple thousand miles on them. I bought them because the stock ones were going out, then replaced them with new trying to chase down the dreaded idle shake.

If I find them, you can have them, you pay shipping or pick up in Tustin.

No, I scrapped out a 98, and later bought an '00 intake manifold that came with a fuel rail. the 00 style are the pencil type.


Text me your address, and you can have them for what it costs to ship them. They are unknown. They came from an ebay auction for the manifold, so junkyard condition.

Tone have you tried to clean them? I would try doing that so you have spares if needed.

Hope you do have it running, maybe we'll see you out at TDS this year.

Cool, with the stroker build I've been researching injectors. Just picked up some blue top ford 24lb 4 holes for mine.

99.5% just waiting on the fab guy to weld in the bump cans then smog/DMV then done like dinner

SWEET! On the OBD2 XJ in Ca you wont even be put on a dyno, just be sure to drive it enough for the computer to complete its emissions self tests.

yep, my 01 was plug in only, tested at idle. they tested the gas cap then sent me on my way

Not all ODBII xj's. Its only 00+ ODBII vehicles.
