WTB: El Cheapo Laptop

Yea, I know, weird request on a 4x4 forum lol. I'm going to start school again in January and my laptop took a dump last year. I just need something that can run Microsoft Word and can play movies. Period. I see them on Craigslist for 250-350 all day long, the problem is i don't have that.

I can however, swing $100.00 a month payment for one easily. Anyone have an old laptop that works but is so archaic they won't use it anymore?

There's a few that meet these specs on eBay, in the 150-range, if you can't find anything else. A Pent. II would suffice. I just sold my spare! Good luck!

Well like i said at the start, I do not have that kind of cash up front, but payments are never hard for me. I work part time and just spent a helluva lot on school so saving up right now is not an option. If 50 or even 100 bucks a month work for you, I'm in!!

Yea, I have ONE more semester before i get my degree and start making some money, but as of right now I'm in the poor pit. Also, I grenaded my t-case today so I'm trying to scrounge for that as well LOL. We'll see how it all works out, I'd rather you got full payment than deal with me nickel-diming, but if you are willing I'll sure take it!! BTW, for kicks what ARE the specs on that pc?
