Wtb a spare engine

lol maybe tom can chime in on the stroker subject but the "best recipe" seams to be an 87-90 block and 95? head with late model 4.2 internals that accept the stock balancer without any machine work. as far as wiring, you can reuse your stock wiring on the new motor

Flores is right, generally you can swap over your wiring and accessories from your existing engine, although various year blocks, and even various models (TJ, ZJ, etc.) differ and can make using your accessories difficult. For example, when I swapped a 99 TJ block into my 99XJ, I had to use a TJ power steering pump bracket, as the bosses on the block wouldn't accept the XJ version... IIRC post-96 blocks have some extra webbing that supposedly offer some additional strength, but it didn't stop me from blowing them up anyways... you want to use a 0630 head, doesn't matter if its late model or not, you can just plug the temp sensor in the back for newer applications.
