WTB: 4.5" Lift Leafs

The AAL's are all that's keeping the back up. It's sagging something awful when I load stuff in the back and with a bumper and tire carrier on the way, it's only going to get worse. I'm going to have the back end apart to shim the axle for my SYE, so I figured now's a good time to upgrade springs. I'm running RE front, and would be cool to do RE rear (3.5 with shackle, or force the 4.5 on stock shackles) but I'll take whatever. Lemme know what you got.

I should have my bastard pack available soon, after I get my new to me leafs and and install them.

I have a set of RE 4.5s I have to go pick up at Goatmans shop. Thats in Bakersfield, I'm near Pismo. Which is closer to you?
He lives in Long Beach, we are closer.

You really need longer shackles to go with taller leafs. If your trying to stay low, a 3.5" leaf pack with a longer shackle will probably be your best bet.

Yea, unfortunately I'm not really close to either. Thanks though!

3.5" leafs with shackles will probably be the way to go. I don't have much interest in going over 4.5" for the foreseeable future, though I am going to have a heavy rear bumper and tire carrier soon and we load the Jeep down with camping equipment frequently so I wonder if I need to compensate for some sag?

shackle reloactors, shackles, then leafs. Thats how I did it anyways.

My current leafs with AAL's are sagging something awful. There's a visible gap between the AAL and the factory leafs, showing that the AAL is the only thing providing arch at this point. So, I kind of need to replace springs first, but I didn't realize there was so much involved.

There really isnt much involved. It's just nuts and bolt, money and time. If you dont have an after market shackle, just look around on here for a 1.5-2inch lift shackle. I normally buy the Rough Country 2inch adjustable shackles online. They are pretty cheap in price. I hear Mudflaps.com has some great prices on Rubicon Express Springs.

Yea, I don't care about labor, it's the cost. I was hoping I could throw on a set of $200 used springs and be done. Apparently not. Thanks for the leads, I'll check it out!

Had an Amazon giftcard and found a seller selling new RE springs for a great price (better than mudflaps!). Picked them up with a set of boomerang shackles. I'll be in business soon, thanks for the help guys!
