WTB 33" tire

Need it for a spare

15" wheel

I have two used Gooyear MTRs (old style) I got from Toyotawrench. I planed to run 33's and 15" rims on my WJ until I found out I can't run 15" rims on a WJ. The brake rotors and callipers don't allow for a rim that small. So these two tires will not be used by me. I think I spent $50 on the one and he then tossed in another for free. Let's say $30 for both or $20 for one. There is only about 10-20% tread. Not good for a daily driver but fine for a trail spare.

15" wheels will fit over Akebono calipers, the Teeves may require some grinding

That's what I thought, but muliplte guys on Jeepforum told me I was wrong. Maybe they are all clueless and I need to put more time into my research.
So maybe I should keep one of the 33's. If you want just one of them, maybe a 6 pack of Corona or New Castle and we can call it good. I will be out in Ontario later this week which is half way between you and I. Let me know if your interested.

Guess I should clarify: black "d" window steels will fit over akebono no problem, well unless you are a tard and forget to toque the tires on, then it will spit wheel lugs.
Aluminum wheels might be a different story
Stock wheels may be a different story

What I want to run is some standard Crager Soft 8's on some 33"x12.5 r15 Goodyear MTR Kevlars. I should probably try to track down a 15" steelie with a 5 on 5 bolt pattern to do a test fit to know for sure.

Got it taken care of.

Thanks to everyone that offered up front and back channel.

Beamer needs a spare now :gee:

I have a few old 33x12.50x15 MTRs out in Norco. Only 10-20% tread left on them but they will suffice as a spare. Free to anyone that needs one.

Beamer could use one. You come to the pasadena ever?

No plans to go to Pasadena anytime in the near future. I can get them to La Habra or Fullerton.

Good news as I just got a tire for Beamer. Thanks again guys.
