WTB: 00-01 4.0L - Nashville

Hey all, I'm picking this search back up now that we are better settled. As the title says am looking for a good running 00-01 4.0L. Any leads would be much appreciated. -Fritz

I have a core and new pistons if you want to have it machined. Crank is all wobbly.I also have one in a 2wd xj. Runs great.

Responded. You said "00"? The block that needs machined is an 01. The 00 is my DD (not for sale). The one I have that is running is in a 96 XJ, but I'm looking to sell the entire XJ not part it out.

Why are you wanting a 00-01? You could easily install a pre-99 with the better head with very little modification. I've done it twice now.

Expanding my search. looking for a 94-01 lower end block assembly or complete engine from a good running XJ.
