i am getting a decent score from work, a rubicon t-case. needs a rebuild, i dont know how bad yet as i havent torn it apart, so that leads me to my question would you put the rubi t-case in your xj or sell it and get an atlas. im trying to keep my jeep with as many factory parts on it as possible.

tear it apart and see what it needs.... if your in it for less than 3k than your saving money. busted its not worth a lot but if you can fix it for cheep and you got it for cheep it sounds like a good deal

The rubicon case is heavy duty .. i think its a NV3500
Its got a 4:1 low range and SYE is factory!

Hell yeah you better use it!

its an nv241 rock trac case..... its based off the 1/2 ton truck cases but with the 4:1 low range and fixed yokes.

its a super strong case and if its not too much to fix its a great deal, youll have to massage the floor to get it in but youll have to do the same thing with any other aftermarket case

I love mine, didnt have to massage the floor at all on mine. Bolted right in except for a slight adjustment to the tranny crossmember.

Make SURE its a 241OR (rock trac) case, there are a few different 241's. If you sold it after you fixed it, you would only get about a grand if your lucky. I paid 800 for mine. The Atlas is a LOT more expensive than that, unless you are Tim.

Should work good. Dad bought his rocktrac from a guy that said it had slop. 2 years later still running it. If u don't get it I will.
