OK, I have a Rockford Fosgate P4004 amp.

Whats is the best way to wire that to 2 12" Rockford P1 subs??

I'am not very good with this vehicle audio wiring.

Ok heres you amp. I assume you have the 4ohm Fosgates.
Where it says "bridged" on the amp is where you will hook up the sub wiring, make sure to keep track of the polarity "+" "-" of the wires. On bridged side will be for one sub and the other bridged side for the other sub. So it will be wired like this (going by the picture) Sub one + wire, skip, skip, sub 1 - wire, sub 2 + wire, skip, skip, sub 2 - wire. The connectors on the subs are marked - again just make sure to keep + with + and - with -

That amp is pushing it for those subs.. it should be right close to the actual RMS value so be careful. Make sure to break the subs in by playing them at low volume for a few hours to break the spiders in. Then let it rip!

Have fun

Awesome! Thanks for the help.
You are correct, 4ohm Fosgates

You really think the amp is too much?? It doesent really matter because I dont listen to my subs that loud. I got this system new, but cheap from a friend after he sold the car it was intended for.

Also,

Should I have the little push button set to 2 channel or 4 channel??

Where should I plug the RCA cables in from the deck?? Input Front, Input Rear, or Pass-through.

That amp will be fine.
Set it to 2 channel, Hook RCA's up to front or rear, really doesn't matter I'm assuming- look at the manual. pass-through is for sending the signal to another amp so you don't have to run new RCA's from the head unit. Set the x-overs to LP, the amp will probley be in LP mode anyway when you bridge it, but since I have not used that one, it wouldn't hurt.

set the gains all the way down to start with and play around with that and the x-over frequency until you find a good flavor

OK, that sounds like a plan.

I never received the manual when I got it. But I'll hook it up to the fronts first.

Thanks for the help again, I'am really good with mechanical stuff, but this audio wiring just drives me nuts.
