Yes.

Want to run hard stuff at Winterfest? You better have at least the following:

ALL the NAXJA required stuff.
MUD tires
Lockers, F+R
33+ or maybe even 35+ tires, depending on the soup.
Winch
No regard for body work or drivetrain.

Rev, What are you considering the hard stuff? Last year on orange I had an easier time than some people running pretty much the same set up. I had 31's & they had 33's. But then again MTR's aren't really a MT. JIM.

is this safety related stuff? is there a list of it some where? sorry for the newb questions

Required Equipment List
1) Visibly charged fire extinguisher (BC or ABC)
2) First aid kit
3) Adequate spare tire, jack and lug wrench
4) Safety belts for driver and any current passenger
5) Adequate attachment points in the front and rear of the vehicle:
Acceptable forms of attachment points: (All Items must be mounted in a manner to provide adequate strength and integrity)
a) Tow hooks of OEM or greater integrity
b) D-Rings
c) Shackle/Clevis
6) 20ft 10,000lb snatch strap without any metal hooks
7) Secured battery (no bungee cords)

It is not required, but a CB radio is very highly recommended. Quite helpful on the trail.

You had better plan on bringing your boots ... quite the combo when yer bumper deep in mud.

Are you the one who said you don't need to know how to spell?

Les :D

After seeing the Badlands trails at Carnagefest I would have to say that if there is a good amount of rain/snow that you had better be willing to get muddy and break a few things.
Awesome place to wheel in my opinion. Is everybody planning on going to the Badlands for Winterfest or are we going somewhere else. I thought Rockport was mentioned? What about Apple Valley Farms? The Cliffs? Just throwing out some ideas.

Kim.

That's right, it was agreed on this year that it would be in Disney next year.
Now that Scott can't come and Forewheeler is in the shadows, there hopefully won't be any pansy traditionalists to play the drama queen roles.

let's not get started on this sh!t again. I made my point very clear the reasons I, and MANY others, wanted to leave it at the Badlands. again, there's no reason not to have another Midwest event, even at Disney.

at the point you start the 3rd grade name calling is when you lose the respect of the members and myself. you bring up scott, where did all that crap start? you're putting your self into that same catagory.

So, you're saying that you're coming this year?
I hope so.

BTW, if you had attended the Winterfest you complained so loudly to have stay, then you would know where all that "crap" with Scott came from.
Just ask anyone how we loathe eachother.

maybe we can have simulcast Winterfests.
EAST - at the Badlands and WEST - Oklahoma

we can call each others cell phones while around the campfire!

I just did a manual search and didn't see any info for the 2006 Winterfest.
I found info from the 2004 & 2005.
Is there a link or is it not officially planned yet?
TIA :kissyou:
