Will '97 + doors work on a '96?

Need a little help please.... As the title states, I need to know if 97 + doors will work on my '96 XJ. I had a little incident where xj meets tree and I had a little scrape. Sure, off road rash may look cool at first, but when windows stop going down, and rust starts setting in..its time to do something. Any input will help if the doors can / will work.

The hinges at the front line up but you have to modify the striker on the rear door jam. Use the search function a little bit and you will find the info you are looking for.
