Not really too interested in the car, but why did it need the tranny rebuilt?

They had a bulliten out for MT's poping out of gear.. Hers pop'd out of 4th all the darn time. I said it was cables, the dealer said bearings & synchro's... Well after all new bearings and syncro's and a gear set... they replaced the cables and shifter assmbly... Imagine that... At least I didn't have to Do the repairs or pay for the repairs...
