4 wheel parts definitely does not have the best prices in town....but i was pretty chill with one oft he guys there so the prices were pretty comparible.......

first
working where you have to order things i understand that sometimes you get a mess up....thats cool...but taking a week to get a part from denver cuz you keep screwing up.....is BS.....

but i got over that...

then...
i ourchased some new skyjacker lines...braided and thought they would be longer than mine...i paid green cash money for them and some roll bar pads...walked outside...measured the new lines to my old and found them to be the same....
so i walk right back insiede...explaint the situation and due to the product not being needed...try to get a return.....

INSTEAD, im hassled for about 15 minutes to just try to order a different part....i dont want to...just want a return...ill do some more research then purchase....
so now for the return....i find out that crispy green shit i just gave them....i cant get back....they have to MAIL me a CHACK or return the amount onto a credit/debit card. dont have mine with me so i get the ok and correct paperwork to give tem card number over phone for the return....i was informed that the return could take 20 minutes to a max of 36 hours....

it has now been over a week....when i call...i get told he has to look it up and will call back...no return call...
so i call again and am told they needed to verify it.....nothing.....call again....and am told that a week after my "return" they JUST THEN ran it thro....so it will take over a week and a half to two weeks for me to get a return that i had paid cash for.....

i was a bit pissed and now refuse to go there for anything else....
price is one thing..anyone can compete on it cuz thats what stores do....customer relations/customer service will win me everytime....
i have had it with that place and thought you might be interested in how their "return policy" works

Yeah I have dealt with them for only a few things and that was due to great deals such as the buy three get one on my tires and the same on my shocks. Other than that I only went to the Denver store as the guys at the Federal store are a bunch of asses. There was one guy that I dealt with, that was named Justin as well and he always took good care of me and my friend Brad. But once his baby was born and he left I stopped going there all together.

You know I have bought quite abit from 4WP in westy and have never had a problem maybee its because I deal with the only guy in the store that had an XJ LOL. :dunno:

Because his doesn't have constant errors and people misspell things when they're angry and typing fast.

primo noone really gives me Chit cuz i usually ask stupid questions they can crack on

or....

wha ti post isnt some stupid nonsense that stays on topic and is more worth commenting on than my grammar or spelling....

I personally haven't had much of an issue with returns at 4WP, but Mike's isn't the first time I've heard of their pretty retarded refund policies. I posted in another thread that 4WP went above and beyond for me once when they refunded me - in cash - for a 3" Pro Comp full lift kit and a set of 4 31" Pro Comp MT's and black crawler wheels. Yeah, they charged me a 15% re-stocking fee, but that's totally within their right since I wasn't returning them for any other reason than I changed my mind and no longer needed the parts. And...... that was nearly 10 years ago - things have probably changed since then.

Not refunding for a part that spent 5 minutes outside the store and came back is pretty rediculous for sure.

ya thats the most annoying part...was that i walked to parkin lot....then right back inside....and the box was already opened when i got it.....

I have had some of the same issues with 4wp. I'd shop at Jeeps Unlimited before I go back to 4wp. There are way too many other places that want my money and my business. And god forbid you ask any of the counter monkeys something tech related, it's like speaking spanish to them. K? K?

I had a bad experience with them too. The store off Federal isnt too bad, but f*** the one in the springs. Worst customer service ever.

I got a story about them I ordered my rims online for the Super Duty and when I went to pay it said tax was 50 bucks for 250 dollar purchase. I was holy chit. So I tried to redo the order same deal. So I had them sent to the store to save on shipping. So I go to the store to pick them up they had had them for a week and never bothered to call me. It was only after I emailed the store to find out where they were they magically appeared that day. So I show the guy how high the tax was he sent me over the manager. He is like that is weird so he fixes the tax and then puts 30 misc charge on the bill instead of the tax. I started to walk out cause he told me he fixed it. I was looking at my receipt and it says 30 misc charge. I was like what the.... So I go back and he has deer in the head light look when I ask about it. He finally fixes it. What the h#ll!!!

Justin's back, I just put a deposit down on a locker. I worked with him, good guy. After reading this, I may look more into jeeps unlimited.
