who's the jackass?

I'll guess it's me but... Ran Carnage last Sunday with Teelander. On our way down from the top we came up on a guy in a Ranger heading up hill. There was no place for us(2 rigs) to turn around unless we backed up about a 1/4 mile to the top. There was a turn out about 100 yard down hill. So were we jerks for making him back up? He seemed to think so. (yes, uphill traffic has right away) Opinions please? I will mention, there were about 10-15 Jeeps about 5 minutes ahead of us...

Wait, so you're asking us if you're a jackass..................

1/4 mile vs. a hundred yards, and on Chinamans? I'd of backed up. I'd be a prick to make some people back uphill a quarter of a mile on a trail that I'd worry more about distance than safety in what I was doing. Cause it isn't that difficult a trail. There are always exceptions to the rule, this would of been one of them.

Common sense should dictate over the general rules

are you the asshat, i vote no. 100 yards vs. 1/4 mile up hill, should be commen sence/decentcy to back up the shorter of the 2 distences. Plus, he was one rig, you had 2. People just need to have a little curticy (sp).
