I have a friend with a zj that wants a 3 inch lift....I am almost positive I have seen them before, but can't find them now.

Who makes em?
Where can he buy them?
And are there any difference on the rears vs. fronts?

Thanks.

ACOS. adjustable to 3 inches and more. dont know that there is a difference between front and rears. Other than the ACOS, i dont think 3 inch spacers exist. but i could be wrong.

ACOS are not an option...for that price he could buy a lift kit. I guess he might just be stuck at 2 inches....poor little fella ;)

ZJ 5.9L coils and WJ V8 "up country" coils should work in a V6 ZJ for about .5-1" of lift - might look into that one...

What's wrong with using a 2" and a 1" spacer? Maybe not the coolest but they fit together (especially if they are Daystar) and do the job.

Just a thought.

there's nothing wrong with this at all. just toss a little epoxy between 'em to help keep 'em together, and you're good! easy and cheap.

Yes there is.

On a ZJ there is not enough rear spring post for this. He will have to weld in an extension of some sort to keep the rear springs in, even on the road.

I have made 3" spacers before out of drill pipe and round cut plate. The drill pipe is easy to find at a steel house, it's almost trash to them. The plate can be cut to make a big washer or you could you a big washer. I do not remember the dimensions, but the washer OD is the same as the pipe/spacer and the ID is the same as the bump stop tower. I am fairly busy so if I if you need more info let me know. I have used this method for daily drivers for years without problems.
