Well, my love of Jeeps started with a CJ5 back when I was a kid. Then As I got older I got into sport compacts(Yeah, Tell me about it) But I always had a soft spot for Jeeps, especially Cherokees. In August of 07 I bought my first Cherokee, a 97 sport with just under 120k and I found NAXJA shortly afterwards( It was all down hill from there:D). That was a slow build but I took the advice of the guys here and got my tow points squared away and wheeled with them at Redbird in August of 08. Since Then said Jeep has been replaced with my current 97 due to an unfortunate accident.

I am a proud Employee of Cummins, Inc. I have worked hard for most the things in my life and If it weren't for me getting a Job there I wouldn't have had any of the things I have. I believe working hard for something makes you appreciate it more than it just being handed to you.

I have made several good friends through this club and the wealth of knowledge I have gained from this site has helped me countless times when wrenching on my Jeep. Now, after 3 years I feel its time for me to give back and hopefully take this club to the next level. I hope to continue making lasting friendships through NAXJA and help the club progress into an even better one.

Thanks for considering me as the next Director at large of the MWC!

You say "take the club to the next level".

Please define what you feel "the next level" is.

Aaron, what are your plans with the MWC?

Well I hope to get more people interested in becoming members. As for many more plans I'm not sure just yet. This is all new to me but I intend on doing it to the best of my abilities.

Thanks to you guys, the MWC is in pretty good shape. I am hoping we make WF more fun for everyone. Its gonna be hard to improve on what the chapter is now so I hope to figure out how exactly to take it "to the next level" I hope that answers your question.

If winterfest were anymore fun, we would be in jail or divorce court....

:roflmao: That's too true Sean. Maybe we can make the trail clean up more fun.....:dunno:

That's an easy one...you just stay home. :gag: Really though, I feel uncomfortable asking you your plans at this moment. I think you'll be better able to answer that if/when you win the vote and see what's going on inside.

Aaron,

Do you feel that you can work with the existing BOD in a professional and polite manner?

Rev

Yes I do Rev. I may act like a goofball some....ok most of the time but this is an actual bit of responsibility and I'm not going to take it lightly.

I know this won't mean as much from an outsider, but I got a chance to spend some time with Aaron at the Crawl this past July. Here are some observations from that event.

1. When I needed a ride for a day, he willingly gave me a seat and did a great job leading the trail ride that day.

2. He is a generous person, who was willing to give a raffle winning to a soldier who could not be present at the event.

3. He knows how to wheel his rig and knows his limitations.

4. He is a funny guy and can definately make you laugh. You have to have a sense of humor.

5. He follows the rules.

When he was toting me around, he was professional. He took the job of leading the trail that day seriously. He can definately work well with people in a professional manner. He and I worked out routes and followed my directions that day.

I wish you luck.

Thank You Ed!

Aaron,

Do you forsee anything that might keep you from being able to carry out the duties of a Director if elected as such?

What are your thoughts on a splitting of the chapter due to the shear size of the states that we cover? Is it needed or not needed?

Do you think that cheese should be considered its own food group?

How do you take so much crap and not go postal?

if elected will you stop being such a post whore?

if elected will you make Rough Country the only lift kit allowed to be ran at winterfest

if elected will you expand the midwest zone to include northwest Tn

if yes to all three I might vote for you

oh one more thing. just a lil inside info just start talking about "hope" and "change" you will be a sure win and i know you will do just as good and the original speaker to coin the two ridiculous words mentioned above

Aaron is a great guy, talk to him all the time. Always ready to lend a hand and pretty knowledgeable too.

He is very capable of holding this position and I am sure he will do a great job.
