I want to do a 98 front end on my 94 xj i just dont know if i can. I have seen it done but how hard is it ? What parts would i need...The hood? The Fenders? If you have before and after pictures please posed. Any info would help

Thanks

Hood is the same. I just did one on my 94 two weeks ago. I pulled the two front fenders and the front header panel complete with all lights and unplugged the harness on the driver's side. It's pretty straight forward, just remember to grab the fender mount thing off the radiator support. It's three torx heads, I didn't and it made it a little harder to do the swap but I made it work.

How does the body line match up like the lines and everything? also you dont need a hood?

Everything matches up pretty well. You can adjust the fenders by loosening the torx under the hood and moving it around. It's really easy, just more of a tedious job then anything. I think it took me about 3 hours including stopping for dinner. The lights are the hardest part to figure out.

Unless you use the newer harness, or add a 2nd blub for the turn signals it is pretty much plug in play. The side marker connector doesnt fit al lthe way in, but will fit and stay snug in its place. It still shines bright. Hood is the same newer and older, you might need to adjust the springs under hood for a nicer fit, but thats up to you. As said above, the fenders are probably the hardest part, but not really hard, just time consuming. I wont be running fender flares as the ones I have need to be sanded down and painted. Bumper is up to you. I would say the newer bumper is a little better depending on the tires you are running, as it is not as wide. But thats minor stuff.
I wish I could find a black grille insert, and headlights bezel's for mine, but thats not important right now.
