Which tranny cooling line is in/out?

Is there a way to tell which trans line is the input and which is the output on my '99 w/ 4.0?

Is there a way to tell which trans line is the input and which is the output on my '99 w/ 4.0?

Does it cool the trans fluid through the radiator?

if so I'd follow the top line back since the pressure to push from the bottom of the tank up would take considerably more pressure. You can also ask a local trans shop, or take off the top line and turn it over for a second and see if it's pushing out the top line.

It's always top in bottom out.
