Which shocks for long arm with 6 inch lift?

I bought an XJ with a 6 inch Rustys long arm kit on it. The previos owner has a set of Bilsteins on it that are way too long. I need to change them. With your experiences, would you recommend King or Fox?

You need to measure for the length of shock you need and order up shocks based on those measurements. Also buy the best/most expensive shock your budget can afford.

x 1000 on measuring what you have for comp/ext lengths. Correct shock mounts and bump-stops are critical to this.

I understand the measuring of the shocks. I planned on that. I just am curious on people's experiences with Fox and King. I understand too that it is going to be all personal preference

I wouldn't even consider them because of price unless I went all the way with coil-overs.

You get more for your buck with Bilstein, and if you go 7100 short body's you can get more travel packaged in the same space.

I have to go with coil overs in the rear because they rear has a Rock Krawler 4 link set up

If you're gonna use coilovers in the rear (not needed but probably what is there), then do coilovers all around.
