wheres the urban wheeling spots gone?

Im in renton WA, i used to wheel full size k5 but that was 7-8 yrs ago, and there used to be places under the power lines etc, that a guy could go to for a quick spin on the way home from work or only drive 15min out of the way to f-off, well i just lifted my old DD cherokee and went out to every one of the old spots,and all were eco blocked off or devoloped into housing, any one know of anything in the seattle metro area?

Ya i get the respect nature aspect,when im in it, but i find it irrelavent in the middle of the city and outlying neighborhoods that have had all forms if nature bulldozed and devoloped, seems pse has all the good spots on lock, cause thats all thats left

That is private property then and would be considered criminal trespass. And if you tear up any ground, no matter what it looks like before they can get you for criminal mischief, vandalism, ect... And you will be liable to pay thousands to have it returned to its former state.

Everyone has been young and dumb at some point. Eric and I used to go and get stuck on WSU land in Vancouver when we were in high school. We knew we weren't supposed to be there but never really thought about the consequences. It would be great if there were legal places to wheel in town, but unfortunately there isn't. No need to flame the guy, just inform him.

Ya i get what your saying, i was in my early 20's when i could just go under the power lines next to my house, or swatch of land in between housing devolopments,and there would be a bunch of trucks going thru the same mud hole, but i was just surprised that all that was now unavailable, my rule of thumb was no gate and no sign, no problem, well thats why i joined to get in some trail runs and more of a organized setting

Unfortunately that isn't the case anymore. By making ruts, even though you didn't make them initially you will be held liable for them if you are caught. You could be charged by the square foot. Which adds up.
