where to buy cheap stereo

If you are still looking for a radio, I have one I pulled out of my XJ that is pretty good. Its a JVC KD HDR-30 with removable face and WMA/MP3 player. It even has the mounting bracket and wire harness for easy install. I plugged my iPhone into the rca jack and it worked fine.

20 bucks and it's yours. I can ship at your cost.

Just an idea:

If you don't need a head unit, hook up an inexpensive amp and run your phone or ipod direct.

I did it to my jeep and boat. I use Pandora, i heart radio, and run playlists. It works no problem.

Thanks guys. i did make a trade for a decent stereo a couple weeks ago and have installed it. works great, and it does work with my iPhone/ipod. so i am good to go with the car i am driving right now. when i finally get the jeep engine swapped out and running right i will get a stereo for that swell. sorry i did not update this sooner, but thank you for all the suggestions and generosity.

So just Stereo rca's to the amp and have it all run out from there??

You will need to wire up the amp to power/ground and your speakers. Otehr than that just a stereo RCA to 3.5mm adapter cable between the amp and phone.

the RCA inputs on the amp need to be able to be set for high level input or you're going to burn out the input circuits in the amplifier, most are designed for a clean preamp output from a head unit.
