heres a pretty good one of me, doesn't look too bad unless you were there, this was a pretty deep mudhole for quads, had I gone at it straight I probably would have flopped on my side, Im stuck cause I didn't have lockers, and I was fully flexed out. The real bad part was, the trail was so tight we had a hell of a time getting my buddies jeep in to strap up to.

last one, same day, let my bro drive for 5 gawd damn minutes and look what he does, dam near rolled it, cracked the tail light on the tree. :banghead:

thats why you always need some of your bigger friends to ride shotgun, Im still convinced big bob kept the jeep on its wheels that day. lol

Forgive the shitty picture, but basically I got pretty hammered at a local boat dock with some buddies, ironically there are some pretty nasty trails right there if any of yall live around Kernersville walkertown nc you know what Im talking about.

Anyway, Jeep was lifted 9 inched on 35's hood was actually under water. had to replace the alternator, the starter, and some other stuff after getting it out the next day. Was too XXXXed up to care, got a ride home and went to bed lol

Here is a picture of the jeep (extreme beater I know) a few weeks later.
Sorry I didn't take pics the next day, I just wanted to get it out and go home lol

better yet, the driver door actually got ripped off once when I was using my truck to pull the jeep out, idiot friend was sitting in the jeep driver seat and swung the door open to look out and as soon as I hooked in the truck I yanked out the jeep and the door bent all the way back lol. Welded it back in there but it was never the same.

My buddy has a 88 wrangler and did this one night, he called me about 1 am damn near in tears saying how he tried to cross the stream (there is a slickrock we usually cross pretty easily) anyway he somehow got swept off the rock and it isn't too deep normally but it was pouring rain, so by the time he called me it was around headlight height and by the time I was able to call a favor in and get someone down there to help it was mid windshield from sliding down the stream a bit into the deeper part. He got pretty lucky since the engine was shut off and didn't take in any water, still had to rebuild the carb and some other shit, not to mention redo the entire electrical system

yea, that sucks, this guy wasn't in that deep, I bet the motor was just fine, I think I saw him driving it around later in the day.

I don't know what he was thinking, I had just crossed a spot a bit up river, and it was pretty deep, (3/4 way up my 33's) and I think he was just backing in to check the depth, and when it got too deep he tried to drive out but just dug holes on some loose rock and just sunk. I had to laugh, but offered up some help immediately once I saw his cooler starting to float away. lol

The poor mans beer was floating away... Shit. Yeah his carb is definatly still above water, lucky him. Lol. Ive got all kinds of bad ones, I got stuck at uwharrie being a dumbass, basically a bunch of people pulled that "you wont do it" bullshit out, and well, I sure did it. Moral of the story make sure you make sure your tie rod sleeve is tight. Fell into whole and the damn thing came apart, but it ripped out the threads, and the advance didnt have one. Just hammered it back together with a hammer and loaded it up on the trailer lol

Refering to post 41....how could entering that water ever appear to be a good idea???

that sucks^
