Give them a little time. I must admit to being amazed at how fast my renewal went through (only two year's lapse, or so...) but I think my initial membership took a couple weeks.
Give it about a month to be sure - remember, everyone running this place is an elected volunteer, and probably has a nearly full plate even without this! If you don't see anything in a month (I'm guessing it won't take even that long,) then you might want to email the membership co-ordinator - I believe his "official" email is [email protected].
Meanwhile, be patient. While I don't think they'll take too long, remember all the things you see that take "4-6 weeks for delivery."
Soon enough, you'll get that envelope with your tag and card in it, and you'll have your red name and your lodge pin...

No problem - in this FedEx world, I've noticed a lot of people have trouble waiting for something (myself included!)
With all the help I'd gotten here in the first year or so, I decided that it was certainly worth contributing to keep this website up and running. I've learned a lot of XJ-specific stuff (I've done mechanical work since I was about 7) and now I know enough to help other people, and carry one a few big projects of my own.
