Wheeling with Wwildman

Wwildman and I went out today with some other local boys. I went to test out the new gears. We had 4 XJs, a YJ and TJ. Had some good little climbs, gave it hell a couple times. The YJ popped a heater core hose so that got rerouted, and one of the XJ's dropped the front driveshaft and went home early. I busted one of my Thule mounts and made a dent above the gutter, broke a taillight, and ended up getting somebody's old winch cable they had left on the trail wrapped on my axle shaft at the end of the day. We tried to unravel it, however after getting about 5 wraps off in 30 minutes we realized it was wrapped at least another 4 times and looks like it went into the axle tube as well. I ended up calling a buddy and getting trailer-ed home.

That was the best way to spend my birthday.
You have got me wondering where you picked up that winch cable.
It sucks you had to get trailered home . two things I need to do are get my winch fixed and add 2 or more inches to mine

Mine is still stock, and i am getting some odds and ends fixed on it, but maybe i can head out with you guys sometime! it would definitely be nice to meet some more XJ (or any 4x4 really) guys around the area.
