Wheeling on the 19th?

Me and a few friends are going to be at Frank Raines Park this saturday, not the best place but the creek is fun.

Dang Phil, how do you keep breaking those? You might have other issues with your rig. Are you breaking/bending 1 side only? Do you get high centered on it? Anyways have a good time guys. My Jeep is down for a little bit dealing with my steering, beadlock balancing and other gremlins. I hope to get in on a few snow runs this Winter.

Dave, are you wheeling with the BayArea4x4 guys like Doug, Chris in his XJ etc? Just wondering. Have fun and post up some pics.

I didn't start bending LCAs until I took off the hatch. I think that's what is causing my arms to bend. Another, more likely reason is that when my axle droops, the shock mount is hitting the control arm. Running into stuff with bad control arm angles can't help, either.

I have seen the future, and the future is longarms.

That or RE drop brackets. Drop brackets will improve your ride and you shouldn't be going through control arms as fast. I thought about longarms, but I'm happy with the performance of my RE adj CAs and my drop brackets even with the 7-9" I run, I have about 7" now, but might go up a little bit when I get my 8" SJ leafs in the back to replace my 4.5" RE leafs and 2" blocks.

First I would stop Jacking my thread, you should go post your useless information on another thread!

Next I would try to make it so your rig can make it home from a trail without having others fix it for you each time!! You post like you know everything, but then your rig does not make it home on its own. That is something to think about, not to post about!

After that I would try to find a way to not piss off the people that are helping you, I beleave the only reason your last con run turned into one day is because the others could not take you anymore. I know a few where done with you at the hollister run, but still drove you into town and then made sure you got home.

I think I am done with most all that I have meet and wheeled with are cool I just can't take this Frick'in @$$Hat anymore!

If anyone shows up tomorrow look for us on CB 32 we should be at the park around 10:30am (but prob late)

Consider my posts a bump for your lame @ss thread. If you want to post a run do so on Bay Area 4x4. This site is for XJ/MJ enthusiasts not @$$ TJ owners. I appreciate the help I got from Bryan, Skipper, and the guy in the TJ that brought me into town to get a new alternator (Hollister). We were planning a day trip to the Con due to it being late in the season and not knowing if it would snow. The forecase looked clear but you never know when the night time temp is in the 20's. I had some issues with my rig at the end of the trail, but we made some quick fixes and we finished the trail. Everyone that wheels know that things can and will break from time to time. I've had a few on the last 2 trips, but they are being worked out. Over the last year my rig has been built with stronger than stock axles, t-case, etc so that hopefully I will not have any major breakdowns.

Now that that's out of the way...who else wants to go with David??? :wierd:

I haven't wheeled with Troy much in a while, and it looks like he's working the bugs out...could they have been worked out before hitting the trail? Maybe. I don't know. I'll wheel with Troy again, I'm sure, but Troy, WE ALL KNOW that your rig is built up now. Please, stop mentioning that. Please.

Maybe everyone who's having personality conflicts needs to just chill. Maybe...utilize your ignore lists?
