Wanted to quickly introduce a new program that is assisting the Forest Service and BLM better manage our trails. We are all already going to be out wheeling, so we have built a program that makes it easy for YOU to be eyes for them concerning conditions and issues. As you may know, the agency staffs cannot make it to many areas they are tasked with managing and rely on trail crews.

In the end, our goal is better maintained trails in an effort protect resources and the trails themselves.
If you are interested in getting involved, please let us know by emailing [email protected] or attend one of the upcoming training events. These orientation sessions only last an hour and allow us to show how to use the reporting database.

Keep bumping this up so I'll remember to make the COS meeting. A month is a long time for an old guy to remember. :)

If ya'll are interested, send me an email with which location you would like a reminder for. I will be sure to send a quick message to you a few days beforehand.

Which is why this old guy wrote it on the March calendar. I have a Write Only Memory, if I do not write it down, I do not remember it...

I'll try to be there as I am convinced that we, as a group, need to be proactive to preserve what we have or it will be taken away by the tree huggers.
