I drove that for 2 years.

At 20k it needed a new steering rack
At 40k the A/C quit.
At 55k the rear axle seal blew and took out the brake job I just did
At 60k the heater controls got a mind of their own and started turning without any input

I don't think Ford does cars well. Trucks, yes. Cars, no.

Ohhhh that Cuda is SEXY! not a big saturn fan but that ion is putting down respectable numbers. Are they supercharged or turbo?

Thanks!.. the Cuda is a kick in the pants... Lots of time in that one... The saturn is well.... a saturn! LOL.. Never get a door ding and the insurance pulls it up as an "ION" so its cheap as hell!

But it comes Supercharged from the Factory and Recaro seats :) doesn't have a whole tone of torque steer for the power AND i bought it mainly because it was the only "American Built" sorda sports car i could afford at the time.

Very true my old f-150 was a tank! I hated the damn 302 though!

My camp runs an 03 F250 FX4, 00 F350 Stakebed, 03 E150 van, and a 74 F250.

These trucks live a hard life on Catalina Island, all dirt roads, salty air, bad winter storms, and see minimal maintenance. I'm surprised how solid they all feel every time I drive one.

Since i never posted MY DD :D

I drive this over 1000 miles a month :D

Yellow is very popular around here. In our auto-crossing group I think we have 50% yellow cars - or near to it out of 8-9 cars.

One of the guys has a blue one (Suzuka blue?). It looks very trick with the blue interior and such. When I first saw it from a distance I thought it was going to suck having a blue interior - too many flash backs to the Olds Cutlass we had in the 1980s with the blue interior I guess. Anyway, it looks great, blue plastics and all. He had to bring it in from the States since they never offered that colour up here. My car is from California originally as well. It was real common to bring US cars up here when the dollar was at/near par. We get screwed on "specialty items" like sports cars and parts.

Another s2k owner here. Mine's a 2007.

I originally wanted the Laguna Blue. Naturally I made the mistake of buying it during the summer. The only S's in the Portland area were a few reds, one silver and one yellow. I was a little unsure of the yellow at first but the dealer made an awesome deal so I bought it. It has since grown on me!

nice 240.

my buddy has a 260z he is restoring

Thanks Ill have to get some pics of it now. Its completely stripped, no doors, no hatch, no glass, no fenders, no nothing lol...

I love me some Datsuns....

Those 240's look great restored. There was a green one in front of me today in a drive-through. Good shape, but it was loud as hell and not in a ricey way. It sounded like a 4.0 on its last leg with no mufflers.

here is my beater when there isnt snow and ice on the roads ('89 Ford Festiva) i swapped a new head onto it and swapped out the 4spd manual for a 5spd manual. sometime in '09, its either getting flames and a flat black/rattle can paint job or i'm going to herculine the entire exterior. she pulls down ~43mpg's as long as i keep it under 60mph. A ford festiva is my ultimate dream car. My rendition will be to paint it like a roller skate and drive it around like that... a true piece of americana you have there sir.

LOL, its amazing as there is a kind of cult following behind these little cars.
they have been modified in almost everyway imagineable, even a few lifted versions with 4 wheeler tires/wheels doing mud runs and tearing up the dunes ...LMAO
