What's your Jeep's Name?

My 1991 was called 'Puddles' because she had a leaky gas tank, rear main seal, and tranny gasket.

My new 1994 is now called Luto. Why? Because it's kinda ragged, tough, and ultimately lovable. Plus, a woman named it, and if I tried any other name she'd veto it.

:D

I call mine H.O.S. (Heep Of Sh*t). I named it the weekend I got my axle back on, drove it back the 500 feet to my house, and then it wouldnt start for 2 days, then when the tow truck got there it miraculously started when I went to show it to him.

Others in my club call mine The Nautalis, because I keep getting stuck in deep water.

my mom calls mine BOW or BUB....for Box on wheels or Big ugly box....shes not a huge fan of the Jeep....i just call it Jeep or cherokee

One, two and three, xj is one, tj is two, yj is three. Gonna make up some bumper stickers that say 'jeep 1 of 3' 'jeep 2 of 3' and 'jeep 3 of 3'....
Working on getting number 4 now as soon as the right bright Red 98ZJ is found with a grey interior for the wife... Number 5 will be a 4 door wrangler.

Naming a vehicle has always been a bit odd to me. If I had to go with one though it would definetly be lumpy. Always go with baby though, don't have to worry what her real name is if you just call her baby.

My XJ is Kelly, since the first trail I took her on is Kelly Flats.

The '82 Cherokee (SJ) we used to have I called Sam Hall (from the Johnny Cash song), since it was constantly giving me trouble - I swear, when I was under the hood trying to fix something I could hear it whisper to me, "damn your eyes."

The '68 New Yorker that I inherited from Grandpa he already named - Virginia.

Our '98 Mercury Sable (not Taurus) with the gutless Vulcan 3.0 we've recently dubbed Blue Thunder.

Can it call rocks?

No name, but I refer to it as "the station wagon." Others have called it the Queen Family Truckster.
