What ISP do you use?

Bellsouth. And I really like their service. I use DSL at work :) and dial up at home.

bellsouth dsl! no downtime yet (knock on wood) but the techs are a bit stupid.....couldn't help me get around the NAT.

Depends on what is available as far as bandwidth options. Find who are your broadband providers, local telco, local cable co, etc.
A good place to start is http://www.dslreports.com

Mike, get the dsl or cable service if you can.
Mine is Charter Cable and is super fast.
Sometimes I wonder if its worth the money though, but it is
really fast.
Later.

ps: did you get the last email from me, I was joking about the wife, that was her idea.

I have a satellite internet called Starband which is 3-4 times faster than DSL. I Like it

Sorry guys,I guess I should have specified that it's a dial-up thing. And yes,Mark,I got the E-mail. I just figured it she was writing that since the "word" was involved

The sattelite internet is $400 for hardware and $40 a month service. Luckily I have parents to pay for this..... :)

According to their site:
http://www.starband.com

Starbband is still overpriced, $699 for the hardware unless you can find it on ebay, $200 installation fee, required that it be setup by a qualified/certified starband installer, and $69 a month for their USB connected xceiver, no eithernet so to run additonal pc's you need their *recommended* software. Glenn Baker had it for a while.
Your pricing got my attention,If you got it for $400 and $40 where did you get it from ??
