What angle is the ramp at the Badlands?

Drove up it last weekend and measured by vertical height but not the distance up the ramp or the angle of the ramp. Apparently I misunderstood how RTI worked. I was 33" up vertically, so based on this calculator if it's a 20* ramp like I think most are then I scored a 952

Didn't mean to kick off a "what's your RTI" thread but I couldn't find the angle of their ramp anywhere...

Thanks mac. It does seem pretty steep. I think whoever came up with the RTI idea messed it up a bit. Instead of dividing your distance traveled up the ramp by your wheelbase, I think we should just divide the vertical height of your tire by your wheelbase. Then you wouldn't have to say "I got a 952 on a 20* ramp, but a 651 on a 30* ramp." It would be the same no matter what angle ramp or if you used a forklift or whatever. I guess the gold standard is to figure it for a 20* ramp though since that's what most people use?

well the standard used to be a 20 or 23 degree ramp. however once people were building flex machine ramp queens the ramps moved towards 30 degrees. now there really isn't a set standard and not a lot of people even seem to be interested in an RTI score. The biggest reason to use them is to make sure that while your junk is flexing that you are not hitting anything anywhere in your suspension travels.
