Congrats Man, I can't say I look forward to having kids, but I am only 21.

I can speak from experience though, Ive met a lot of fathers, and only one of them has ever said something that stuck with me that night. Went about like this...

Went to a girls house 4 or 5 years ago, I was a junior in HS at the time, pulled up, walked up to the door and all, her father seemed all calm and cool, says

"Hey you must be Eric, come on in real quick"
"no problem sir"
"Eric, sit down"
"Nice Jeep outside, how did you pay for it" (I was driving my 89 XJ 6.5 RC lift and 33's at the time, had been detailed up, was shining that night)
"Well Sir, I work part time at mcdonalds, plus I got a great deal on the jeep and have done the work myself"
"Thats great Eric, How long have you been driving"
"Im 17, so just a little over a year"
"Mind if I see your drivers license"
"No problem, (hand it to him)"
"Well Eric, Have a great time, and be safe, get her home by 10, you know where I live, and now I know where you live too (hands license back)

I like this idea Doug, I will definitely have to use it. I can have the song "bullet with a name on it" playing in the background when the guy comes by. By then it'll be a 'classic' song anyway, but it'll add to the ambiance.
