Well the begining of the end.(you will see what i mean)

Looks like you may have got lucky with those tube ends. How about more pics of the tube ends and the axle shafts?

Edit: So are you going full width?

And according to that website these should be 31 spline. Maybe im counting the splines wrong. Gawd I have a headache.

LOL Me too...Looks like you have a keeper!

That is the 3300lb bearing I was telling you about. It handles more shear, but less side load than the cone style bearing.

When you announced it was a 28 spline, the assumption was for small bearings. Everyone gave advice based on that information.

Since I don't know much to start with, and quickly forget the rest, I had to do some homework.

31 spline is a keeper. From this angle it looks as though the shaft can be shortened and re-splined with no problem:

The big bearing housing is a keeper. I don't know if you plan on staying full width, or narrowing the housing to some other track width. Hopefully you are doing your homework for that answer.

3rd members are dime-a-dozen, but I think you need a different carrier for the R&P ratio you want. Maybe others have that information for you, I'm getting short for time.

Well I don't plan on shortening it. Its about 61 inches WMS to WMS. I haven't measured the flange to flange yet but i can do that. And the Shafts taper towards the middle of the shaft.

Heres the other pic i took but didn't seem it was necessary to post. Im not sure if you can see it but its tapered in the middle.
