I absolutely cannot wait to get it and throw a new set of wheels and tires on it, that's the one thing it really needs in my eye. I also plan to ditch the bugdeflector. Aside from that what do you guys think? I got it for about $4000 under blue book, I thought I did alright.

You realize that truck is a Dodge....right?

Holy cow, you're right, the whole time I thought it was a Jeep Gladiator Pick-Up. Frick, I got hosed!

whats your point?

i do agree that the dodge is missing the straight six power though.

cummins FTW! that could be because they pay my salary though :dunno:

EXCELLENT!! Now we an use your truck to haul my junk to WF!! I might even help on gas :D

Well, I got there, the truck was just as described in the listing and I think I got one heck of a deal. It was a 7 hour drive home and she performed beautifully. It's got plenty of power, now I just need to find a fairly cheap car trailer and the money to long arm and lift my Jeep more. Thanks for all the kind words guys :D.

your gonna love it, this is the greatest truck i have ever owned, better then chevy, better then ford. DODGE RULES

I would never own a Ford product, but I actually do like Chevys fairly well; still happy with this decision though. That's an awesome looking Ram you've got. Does your 1500 have any trouble pulling an XJ? Judging from the power unloaded I'm thinking mine will do fine, but then again you've got the HEMI, I've just got a glorified 98 ZJ :D.

:D...I love the smell of gasoline.

Well that's good....cause you'll be smelling it.....a lot.....as you'll always be at the pump filling up :D

Seriously though, nice lookin truck. I'm still a big fan of Dodge's (love how they look)...and I would agree with the others on Ford and Chevy (especially after my experience with our last Chevy).

How long before you get the bling bling wheels like you had on the XJ for a short time? :D

It'll be a while before I can get Charger wheels to fit on this smartass :D; atleast this time it would be immediate family though huh?

It actually doesn't do too bad on gas either. I'm getting 15 highway and around 12 city, that's about as good as my XJ did for a while (now I get about 20 highway in the XJ). Overall I'm fairly happy with the mileage though.

Eff all the nay-sayers!

My 2000 Dodge has 276,000 on it!

and its in Moab right now! (I'm not :tears:)

(It also has 5.9L of displacement, and a turbo)

the only trouble is that i put 35x12.5 tires on and still have the stock 3:55 gears, but it gets the job done.

Good, I'm just going to stick with the 31.5"s (or whatever a 265 70 is) so I shouldn't have any problems. Dustin (comancheon33) and I are going to turn up the front torsion bars however so hopefully that will level it out. I'm loving this thing so far by the way. I just ordered up a Flowmaster 40 for it also so within the next week it should be sounding awesome!
