Speeding tickets suck. $200, that cuts into the Jeep fund quite a bit. He was just fishin' for someone too. Caught me right after the merge from e-470 to I-25 where the speed drops from 70 to 55. During traffic I obviously brake to the current speed. But at 1 am with one other car on the road I just coast. I went right by the trooper on e-470 with no problem. Wasn't so lucky with the Centennial Sheriff................ :gag:

67 in a 55, so 10-19 over, which is a 4 point tickeret and a $100 fine. Then tact on the fact that the whole of I-25 is a contruction zone(even though there wasn't a single: sign, worker, truck, or even cone, where I was gunned). So that doubles it, $200. I didn't know I could pay it online. Gonna throw it on the CC, so the Jeep fund is saved.........

Fort Collins has a neat trick. They hit you with the photoradar and then say if you don't dispute it and simply pay it that they won't notify the state and it won't go on your record.

That stinks. I was out test driving a 95 ZJ with the price on the windshield, and flipped around to take it back to the lot, my buddy seen the motorcycle cop and didn't say anything. I used the "the spedo must be off" not 15 mph off he stated. So, 250 later, and no I didn't buy the ZJ.
