warm water to frozen windows

well looks like i need to go and get some Rain-X windshield washer fluid.
how would you go about changing out the fluid, i know the tank is full(ish), and now that im back at school i only got the basic set of tools that live in my Jeep.
i need to know soon because Wednesday and Thursday are going to be the warmest (44*) thanks

you can unbolt the reservoir and dump, but on a '97 you'll need to pull the fender liner to get to it.

personally, I'd just keep running the pump and use up a bunch-- then refill and use it a bunch more. Be sure to use it some after the refill, though as you need to get some of the good stuff into the hose if you want the benefit when it's cold.

I've never had parking brakes freeze up with slush. And mine get used every time I stop.

From what I've heard, Rain-X washer solvent really shouldn't be mixed with anything else. Run that pump until the reservoir is dry.

Rain-X is the best by far. After you use it for a while, you don't hardly have to run your wipers. I've been trying to run my XJ out of the old blue fluid it had in it when I got it, while I'm carrying aroung a jug of Rain-X my warning light finally came on, so I'm close to the Rain-X upgrade. I'm just waiting for it to sputter a little and then I add the new.

If you warm up enough for the washer to flow again. Just squirt out all of the old fluid and add in new Rain-X.
