Time has come to stop paying rent...

Need a garage to wrench on heep...

and room to breed some Bullies...

Looking to buy in Northeast IL...

Lake County... Prolly Grayslake, Mundelein, Round Lake, Gurnee, Lake Villa, etc.

Anybody know a good realtor in that area?

Know anyone selling in that area that wants to piss off the neighbors?

I work in Northbrook so I want to stay within a 40 minute drive from there...

Well, if you hadn't narrowed it down so much, my next door neighbor's house would be right up your alley.

Two houses for sale by me, one behind me and one across the street.
I hear the other one behind me will be for sale soon.

Perhaps I should clean up around the house and quit driving the people away.

Kenosha area is pretty inexpensive, more so than any of the "Fox Lakes area" communities. Less taxes, sales tax, everything... BUT you'd have to change your handle to Gil Cheddarkatz!! :laugh3:

also considering southern Wisconsin...

Pleasant Prairie and Kenosha area...

I don't anticipate oil prices coming down anytime soon.

you may be better off spending a bit more on the mortgage,

and less on fuel, maintenance, tolls etc.

Plus, you may want to see how WI tax laws look

at WI Homeowners that earn their incomes from IL.

Went to an open house in Kenosha...

Not bad for the price...

Looked bigger in the pics...

Neighborhood seemed...

dated?

Went up to a cop doing some paperwork at a nearby Wendy's...

Didn't get shot on sight, So I guess that's a good thing...

Told me to stay away from the NE side of town...

Is that where all the white people live?

:D

Gonna try Pleasant Prairie next week

Clay County could use another good animal control officer. It's a hell of a lot cheaper to live down here too. I'm somewhat~friends with the Vet down here too, might be able to hook you up there too. You can get a very nice home for that kinda money. Come on down, I'll help you move. This one is right next to my parents house. House My sister-in-law works at the bank, want me to get the paperwork started? HTH:wave:

Wow...

2 frickin acres!

If only I was planning on going to champaign-urbana...

present plans call for me to get 2-3 years of pre-reqs out of the way before going to UW-Madison...

That's why I'm looking up North

Thanks for the offer...

if you ever plan on moving North...

I can hook you up 'round these parts!
