I will buy all Old Catalytic Converters from any vehicle. Prices paid range from $20 to $150 each depending on what they came from. The Catalytic Converters can be dented, rusted, smashed, cut off, flanges missing, etc. I do not care. Jeep cats are around $50 depending on how much of the inside of the cat is still intact. I work at a recyling shop. ALWAYS have tweakers come and try to sell them to us.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to all of you. As for the mazda Miata Cat. I will pay $60. and yes there are precious metals inside. Trace amounts of mostly Platinum. I buy by the 1000's and send them away for processing. A lot of work tracking these things down. Expensive but worth it in the end. I never buy what I believe to be stolen. If any show up at your recycling shop and your shop doesn't recycle them for more than weight in steel, LET ME KNOW! I will pay you well for them. I have one guy that makes more than $30,000 a year on the side just pulling them out of the scrap steel bins. Of course he has permission from his bosses to do so. Let me know. Mike

Where are you in CA? Or do you come by and pick them up?
I am in San Diego County. I will travel to get the cats as long as I have enough to pick up in an area. I have routes that go into LA, Riverside, San Diego Counties every week.
