LJ 241's are not as easy to fit as TJ 241J's right?

This guy on Pirate is selling one for $1200:

But I think I read somewhere that a 2004 TJ Rubi case is a direct fit, while the LJ cases have the wrong yokes, wrong bolt pattern (they are metric?), etc? Did I read that right?

I was able to get a jk 241 to work in my xj
The yokes are wrong, and there is no speedo sensor, but it can.be done

Is there a solution for the speedo after the swap?

I used the ford 8.8 tone ring to send a signal to the dakota digital box, which translates that signal into something the factory computer can deal with.

I heard there's a tone ring inside the 241J. If that's the case, couldnt the Dakota box pick that up as well?
