want to join NAXJA but is anyone is KS!!!

i have read through these posts on here.........even the sticky stating what states are included in the chapter...here is my problem...

i am from kentucky...but in the Air Force and stationed in Wichita Kansas at McConnell AFB....

i want to join ..cause i post on here all the time and have made a couple of friend s in the process.....i read here constantly......

the problem is....if i join how will be able to participate in chapter events when all you guys meet up in chicago...and that is forever away....is there anyone here in kansas that i can get up with and wheel..

i want to learn to wheel better ....that is why i want to join.....i used to in high school with my old wagoneer....and now i have owned my xj for 2 years and there just isnt enough wheelin in the local area to get the experience i want.....

just wonderin who is in the vicinity and if i join..what are the real benifits of it?

There are several Ka members. Jeepin Rebel is in Ft. Riley, right near you. You can join some of us when we go to Disney, Ok. Also, there will be other chapter events in other places than Ill.

You should join. As long as you are willing to drive a little, you can go to the regional events like the rest of us. Perhaps if you join, it will persuade others in your area to join. Being in the AF, anywhere you get stationed there are gonna be members nearby. Give it a try.

yeah i dont mind to drive...my 89 seems to be pretty reliable..

i am lookin into joining...i really would like to network to get up with more people from around here....there are local clubs here like Wichta 4X4 Club and then you got Trail Krawlers i believe that put on Kansas Krawl for the past couple of year *btw i havent been able to go to either one cause i have been deployed*...i can go this year though....YAY....im excited..maybe i can get some people together to start a group from wichita who knows...

what type of skill level would i need for disney........i have seen some pics....kinda makes me nervous...but i really want to try..lol....

i wheel at Tuttle Creek in Randolph Kansas - because its about 2 hrs south of me on Hwy 77
That is (sadly) the closest and best stomping ground for all the Nebraska Wheelers...
