yeah, what he said. thank you guys for all you do! i've been flamed on here before for saying why i wouldn't join the military. but it doesn't mean that i don't appreciate all that you do, to make the world a better place. you guys that can handle being a part of our great nation's armed forces have a lot more courage, resillience, diligence and ingenuity than most people ever give you credit for. my reasons for not joining go hand in hand with qualities that you guys have that i lack. thank you for doing what i'm not sure i could handle.

Today I had the honor of marching in the Veteran's Day Parade in Nashville with our Cub Scouts. I say it was an honor because I was proud of the chance in a very small way to show our support and appreciation to the men and women who serve our great country. More importantly it gave us a teachable moment with these boys about the importance, sacrifice, and respect that these men and women deserve. Thank you for allowing me to enjoy and be a part of the great privileges my family has thanks to your sacrifices.

Amen. A little over 2 years ago a very close friend and neighbor of mine who was a veteran passed away suddenly, and I regret not thanking him more for the sacrifices he made during his time in war.
To all veterans who have served, and all soldiers who currently are serving, THANK YOU!
