Doing a ton of work and the list keeps growing. We're also making a switch to General Grabber Tires before we go. At this point upgrades are done, now its just fixins.

We've raced with them and sponsored them before, great group of guys and I learned alot from them. Unfortunately they will not be down there this year. I will have our FJ Cruiser down there to race:

Dwindling down...

Sunday did some testing, someone hit a fence, fuel filter still clogging, drop tank remove foam, steam clean. Thursday re-install, night test, drag to WP shop. Friday send to vinyl shop, Monday pick up from vinyl shop. Tuesday open house at WP, display race car. Wednesday fly to Pittsburgh, stay on east coast working until the 17th fly to vegas and race to reno. Somewhere in the middle have guys button up final details on prep work, assemble toolboxes. Oh yeah and build our pre-runner too. AAAAAHHHH!

Isn't racing fun?

Isn't getting to the starting line the biggest pain in the A** ever?

Almost sounds like the tranny is slipping on the shifts. And that shift light....

Best of luck to you guys at V2R! I'll be out there pitting and chasing for 1599, Milk-N-It motorsports Class 1 car.

When you drive it, it doesn't feel like its slipping but does take a bit to shift. I usually run the shift light with the cover on, then its just a hint of light.

After v2r when I have more time, I'll work on getting things like the jack and shovel to not rattle. Its a noisy bugger inside!

When you're racing, you won't even notice the stuff rattling...intercom, radio, pumpers, you'll be breathing hard and listening to directions from your co-dog. There's a lot going on inside your own helmet...
