A short in-n-out trail that goes to an outstanding overlook, expect lots of other vehicles and mountain bikers. The bikers will look at you, amazed that any car can drive up that trail while you look at them with their bicycles wondering how a person could ride down some of those ledges, much less pedal up.
Here's a map with the waypoints labeled 23## to correspond with those in Charles Wells' Guide to Moab, UT Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails, Second Edition.
These photos mostly show the pre-2005 glory of the trail. Many of the ledges were filled in to allow work trucks access to the pipeline that crosses the mesa. They are gradually getting washed out again.
The signature obstacle of this trail
The Z Turn
Overlook at trail's end. RIP Ron Duncan.
