a lot of my neighbors know me and that im usually tryin to part this together or that together and using random things so when they get tires chenged out or whatever they usually bring em to me....

im done with projects right now.....sooooooooooooo.
does anyone have any good ideas as to how to get the ones i have off my hands?......

right now ive got two (2) half tread 285/70r17 BFG A/T KO's
and a TSL SX 33x15.50x15 thats almost new......(have other 3 but they are all but done)

i hate craigslist cuz its turned into nothing but scammers and fake crap......suggestions?

I jus sold my stock set of 4 to a guy on CL. I would try it but don't take pay pal or checks unless they come out and check them out first.

might try and PM Yellheep, he may need them for rollers or to use on one of his fix-n flips. Just a thought.

right on.....ya i mean craigslist does get good people.....but there are soooooo many emails of just junk its ridiculous!

Are you pretty good at car stuff? I am getting spacers and wondered if you had tools.. or the knowledge to help me put them on..

im good with car stuff yes....but my XJ was my venture into 4x4....between my buddy and i we can get jsut about anything done lol....

not sure what all tools you need.....(lots of sockets, hilift, jacks, hammers, mallets, ratcheting box ends, screw drivers, and some other wrenches......ive got most of everything but not sure if its the right stuff lol

if i do id be more thn happy to help

Awesome.. Ill look into what we need exactly. Thanks :)

ya just let me know....the more specific(i.e. socket sizes) the better..... but ya let me know...

Hey you found somebody closer to you to help! Yeah party1:

........so you don't want to come up to Broomfield from Monument? :jester:

You don't need many tools, you basically have to remove the coils and place the spacers and put the coils back on.

1. Jack the front end up as high as you can.
2. Remove the wheels, swaybar disco's, top of the shocks, and sometimes it is wise to remove the Track bar to get it to droop enough. (Watch out for your brake lines.)
3. Go to Advance auto parts and rent a coil spring compressor, pain in the butt a tool that can make it a little easier. (Sometimes depending on the manufacture of the lift the coil it will be far away enough from the top stem and bump stop that you can just slip the spacer on without having to remove the entire coil from its seat.) Sometimes that coil spring compressor can add that edge to do this.
4. If not remove the bolt holding the lower coil strap. (It holds the bottom of the coil in place.)
5. Once you get the coil out of its position slip the coil spacer on and slip the coil back into position then move on to the other side.
6. once both sides are in place reverse the above steps.

Got that? :compwork:

.......I expect a full report when it is all complete, plus pics, and there will be a test when it is all done.

Okie dokie

Gotcha! Thanks bud :) same for the back right?

hahahaha oh man..... a report huh?./...dont hold us up to anything.....im from the land of leaf spring"ed" yotas and motorcycles...but should be easy enough

....unless you have a coil conversion in the rear?

Should be leaf springs back there............thems would be shackles ............that is a different ball game. Actually I think easier.......

Why don't you concentrate on the front first and see where it sits before you go raising the rear.

Sorry brutha..... can't really use any of those tires at this time. I don't like keeping too many around - take up too much space and my little 30' by 35' lot is packed as it is.

Craigs and CO4x4 are gonna be your best bet.

i havent been on CO4x4 yet....maybe should try there....ya i usually get rid of some on CL...but usually i end up gettin more at the same time!....lol
