Urban Camo, Desert Camo or Cow Textured??

i wanna go camo too...
how would you go about getting all the colors to look right and in the spot tho???
ive seen camo cars that people tried and they look like liquid ass!!
oh yeah and back my home town (albuquerque) theres a xj thats paint rock camo, its amazing!!!

i have been wanting to go snow camo for along time now, white/grey/black
It looks extremely easy, but, any pointers from the guys that have done it? im affraid i'll end up having a bunch of Uniform spots that will look weird. also, do you paint it all one color, the do spots of the other 2 colors? how many coats did you use?

go and get the lower part done with bedliner and do the upper in camo, i used line-x on the lower of mine and it makes life alot easier since it wont scratch, but it does definatly still dent!!!!

Use the military's former Desert Camo(the air force and navy still use it.)
Brown, Tan and a off tan/green.
Perfect.

I'm again online... here in Italy is early morning.

First of all, THANK YOU ALL for your suggestion, then: no one has a "cow textured" XJ picture?

Camo is interesting, but I'm sure also "cow" can suit my taste...

;-)

Hell, I'm even thinking about dropping the lift back to stock till I can afford to do it right.

Just making the point that bashing the aesthetics of someone's rig is stupid, especially when they're just looking to make theirs a little different. I see a lot of that lately, don't know if it's the younger guys or what, but it's petty, and irritates me. That's just me though.

FWIW our Jeeps were identical, at least til this summer. I couldn't stand it any more. It's all a matter of taste, ya know?

Hubs - hey, fair enough. I could have stated my preference in a way that didn't knock on anyone else's junk. Hell, I think most of us on the board got jeeps because they CAN be personalized to our own preferences...
Didn't mean to piss anyone off.

Overland- Regretting the OD now?
