My 96 FSM lists the part numbers for 2 alts, one is a 90 amp the a 136. My late model 96/97 has the 136 amp alternator. I must've lucked out! :clap: -B

Wow! Thats a lot of amps! Isn't that why you use a deep cycle battery? The alternator's main purpose is to assist and charge the battery, right? If you are doing pulls that require that much power, I'm sure you need something more than a high amp alternator. What limitations would I have if I were to run the 120A and dual batteries? One standard and one deep cycle...
